When we have been hurt, we tend to live with this thought in our minds that “We somehow deserve this thing.”  “We owe this to ourselves to do.”  Whatever that “thing” in our life is, we somehow feel we deserve it whether it be good or bad for us, because a bad thing happened to us.  As we saw last week, Joseph was taken to Egypt and sold into slavery to Potiphar, the captain of Pharaoh's guard.  While there Potiphar’s beautiful wife tried to seduce this young 17 year old Joseph.  At 17 years old, he could have said, “God you put me in that hole and you allowed me to be brought to Egypt to which I am a slave in this house. You allowed all these bad things to happen to me.  I deserve to be with this married woman!!!”  Don’t you know the devil loves for us to take the bait.  Joseph’s Integrity and character wouldn’t allow him to take the bait.  Joseph had a plan!!!!!    Pastor Dewayne will continue his series on “Forgiveness” looking at the process that Joseph had to go through to arrive at the destiny God had for him.  Join us tomorrow morning at 10 a.m. to hear what Joseph’s plan was that helped him not to be seduced by Potiphar’s wife!!!
