Do you remember that first year in your new relationship with Christ or the re-dedication year?  It was new and exciting.  Now months and years have passed and you have found yourself going through the motions when it comes to your walk with Christ?  I mean you go to church.  You serve there.  You read your Bible, but yet you feel so far away from God.  Somewhere along the line the warmth and excitement of your love for Christ and the things of God have grown cold and lifeless.  The duty that was the result of devotion took the place of devotion.  You are just going through the motions.  How do we return to our first love?   Tomorrow morning, we are going to look at a Church in Ephesus where they had left their “First Love,” their love for Christ Himself.  Christ Himself tells them you have been doing remarkable as a church; however, this one thing I have against you, “You have left the love you had for me!”
