We are experiencing a pandemic, racial tension, and civil unrest.  We have an election of a lifetime coming up.  There is confusion and fear surrounding ALL of these events throughout our land.  There is sources that are fueling and fanning the flames of our fears.  I am seeing that fear is growing and faith is decreasing.  These two things can't co-exist!  Fear and Faith!  They are not supposed to go hand-in-hand!
Tomorrow morning I have a message that will speak directly to fear. I have entitled my message tomorrow morning "Miracle of overcoming fear & standing with Jesus on top of our circumstances"

We are not called to be overcome, but we are called to be overcomers!!!

Message #9 "Miracle of Jesus healing an issue in a woman's life"

It has been said that we ALL have issues.  Some people have told us, "Maybe you are the issue."  Tomorrow morning, Pastor Dewayne is going to be preaching a message about a woman who has had an issue for 12 LONG years.  How long have you had your issue or issues?  We will learn tomorrow morning about a woman with an issue who was tired of the issue.  She had made up her mind; she is going to do something about it.  Today, either I am going to be stoned by the people and die with my issue or I am going to go touch Jesus to be healed and the issue goes away!!!  Either way!!!  This lady had made up her mind I am hitting the road to get to Jesus, and was saying as she was walking, "If I can just touch Him (Jesus) I will be healed."

What would you do if one of your kids was dying?  He/she was about to take their last breath!

Please join us tomorrow morning to learn about a man, who was the synagogue ruler, he had a very important position in life, everybody respected him, and most of ALL everyone knew his name - Jairus!  As we open the pages of the Bible tomorrow to this story, you will learn that no matter your position in life, your status, how popular you are and how much money you make, if one of your kids were dying, you would go to the extremes to get them help. You would do whatever it takes!  This man, Jairus, went to extreme measures to get Jesus to come to his house!  As I have said for the past two weeks, desperate times calls for desperate measures to be taken!
Come join us at 10 a.m. tomorrow morning to find out just how desperate Jairus, the synagogue ruler, was and the extreme measures he went through to get Jesus to come to his house to heal his daughter!

When a person truly repents, God's heart melts.  Isn't that good news?  He loves to restore repentant sinners!  All of us need a God who will reverse His decision of judgment, but we are often so unlike God that we are unwilling to reverse our own judgmental decisions.  Are there people in your life, if the accepted the Lord Jesus as their Savior, whose salvation would make you angry?  Would it disappoint you to learn that a certain person had become a Christian because you would then have to treat them as a brother or sister in the Lord or spend eternity with them?    Think about it!  How would you fare before God, if he were as angry and unrelenting as you and me?

In the book of Hebrews chapter 11 verse 1 it says, “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of the things not seen."  This verse is literally telling us that there is a substance that has to be mixed into the things we are hoping for and praying about.  The substance according to this verse is  “Faith.”

Pastor Dewayne’s message is centered around that substance “Faith” as he continues his series on “Finding your miracles through Jesus miracles”. Tomorrow’s message is title “Jesus miracle of faith rising through a dead fig tree”

The miracle you and I seek for our lives today depends utterly and completely on the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ.  The resurrection was a real event that took place in the world more than two thousand years ago!!!  Pastor Lee Stroble, who has a masters degree in Law from Yale Law School and a degree in journalism who was a professing atheist while working as an editor of the Chicago Tribune spent over 2 years of his life trying to find the evidence that Jesus really never rose from the dead.  He was trying to debunk the resurrection ever happen to prove to who his wife ,who had given her life to Christ, she had joined an occult!  If you read his book or seen the movie "The Case for Christ" you will see that he ended up finding proof that Jesus of Nazareth did rise from the dead.  After ALL the facts he found; he gave his life to Christ our resurrected Savior!
Tomorrow morning we are going to study this resurrection through the lives of three people who encountered the resurrected Jesus.  In a way, these folks who sandals we are stepping into tomorrow represents or represented our views of the resurrected Jesus!

We are living in times where people are becoming more and more offended than we have ever seen in our lifetime.  This "Offense" has sewn discourse in churches of ALL denominations, in relationships, In our families, in our workplaces,  and it has caused splits, division, desension, etc…  We are more concerned with offending someone than sharing the truth in love and allowing the Holy Spirit to convict that person.  It’s not our job to change people, but when we are afraid of sharing about the things of Jesus with others in the name of offense; we shut down the Holy Spirit’s power of conviction to move in someone’s life!  Jesus talks about in the last days that many will become offended.  Tomorrow morning let's see what Jesus has to say about us becoming offended!

God looks down from Heaven every Sunday and sees amazing gifts He has given to each of us or better yet put inside us.  God sees us using our talents, abilities, and the gift that He has given us to make a living, providing food, clothing, a house, and a car.  We use our gifts for our daily affairs.  We use these gifts to bless our own lives. Yet hundreds and 1000’s of people who go to church never use their gifts to glorify God by plugging them into and releasing and activating that gift into their local church.  You may feel disqualified or that what you have to offer doesn't matter!  Please join us tomorrow morning as we open the Bible and watch the Lord unwrap a gift that He put inside a man named Moses!

I remember growing up watching cartoons on Saturday mornings.  One Saturday morning one of the cartoons depicted a character about to make a decision.  On one side of his shoulders there was a angel that looked just like his character whispering into his ear that he was about to make the wrong decision.  On the other shoulder, there was devil character that looked just like him telling him to go for it in his other ear.  True is was just a cartoon, but in reality we don't have a cartoon character that looks like us, as an angel, sitting on top of our shoulders whispering into our ears.  What we do have is the gift from the Father that Jesus said, "I must go that He (Holy Spirit) will come to you and lead you to all truth."  This Holy Spirit will speak "conviction" into your ears when you are about to make a decision to get high, watch porn, commit adultery on your spouse, while drinking to the point you are becoming inebriated (drunk),...  This is that still small voice that is saying, "don't do put that needle in your arm," "Stop doing that," "you shouldn't be watching that," "you shouldn't be drinking this,"  ect...

I have titled my message "Haunted by the Holy Ghost" because no matter what decision you are about to make (Good or Bad) or in the midst of making (Good or Bad), where you are going and who you are going with, where you are and what you are doing, (Good or Bad)--  The Holy Ghost is right there with you!!!  The Holy Ghost lives inside of you!!!

Have you ever had a friend or family member that invited themselves over for Thanksgiving or Christmas dinner?  They tell you and your wife, "Hey see you on Thanksgiving day!  We are coming for dinner!!!"  You and your wife look at each other and say did you invite so-and-so?  How would you handle that situation?
As we continue our series "Come to the Table," we are going to see Jesus inviting himself to Zacchaeus house for dinner.  We might see that as intrusive or rude, but Zacchaeus sees this as a life changing experience that would change his life forever!!!

How many of you folks love watching a good comeback movie?  I love movies whether it be a sports movie or feel good movies that have a comeback in relationships, health, work, or in families.  It’s just something about watching those movies that inspires me to say to myself,  “When we are knocked down, don't stay down, get back up and do what’s right, You’ll get your comeback!”

This Sunday I will be preaching a message centered around a breakfast meal that I am calling the “Comeback Meal” by the sea.  Peter who had denied Christ three times was down and out and went back to his old life.  He was down and out, but Jesus was cooking up a “Comeback Meal” for Peter.

Please join us this Sunday to find out how you too, like Peter, can have a “Comeback Meal” in your relationships and in every area of your life.  Like they say where I am from “If you get knocked off the horse, get back up and ride it.”  See you Sunday!!!

Have you ever been just about ready to sit down and eat dinner as a family, then you hear the doorbell ring?  When you go to the door it’s that person that seems to always show up at the most inconvenient time or calls you at the most inconvenient time.  You feel obligated, because you are getting ready to eat, to go ahead and ask them if they would like to eat with y’all.
This Sunday, I want us to go to a meal where Jesus was invited by a leper named Simon; and Mary couldn't wait to do what God had put on her heart to do, so she crashed the dinner where Jesus was at.  Jesus said to all the guest around the table that "Wherever the gospel is preached in the whole world, what she did will also be told as a memorial to her."  What was it that she did.  She did four things that will be an example for us to follow.
Let me ask you a question friend!  God forbid you die right now.  What would people remember about you?
The Title of the message on Sunday as we continue the series Come to the Table is “The Dinner Crasher"

A couple of weeks ago or maybe last week, I had asked,  “How many of you have ever been told you are hard headed?”  I felt very led this week to preach a sermon on what that would look like, if we were to get as hard headed about the things of God, as we are about these things:  our opinions, traditions, thoughts, routines, hobbies, political views, what TV programs are acceptable, what time we should eat breakfast, lunch, and dinner; what time you feel everyone should go to bed and what time you think people should get up -- I could go on and on, but you get my point.

What would your life look like if you were to start today being hard headed towards the things of God!

Join this pastor who has been told his whole life that he is hard headed, but praise God 27 years ago, I got hard headed about the things of God.  By the power of the Holy Spirit, God has changed me from the inside out!!  Amen!!!

There is so much worry going on in the world these days!  How you doing?  Are you worrying about how you are going to buy Christmas presents this year?  Are you worrying about where to do Christmas this year?  Are you worrying about your job situation?  Are you worrying about the newly imposed guidelines by the governor?  Are you worrying about this COVID virus?  Are you worrying about your blood work coming back with a bad report?  Whatever you are worrying about has your attention right now!
Can you imagine being told by your teenage daughter she is pregnant?  Can you imagine being 12 or 13 years old finding out you're pregnant?  How about finding out that your fiance whom you have asked to marry you is pregnant?  Can you imagine the worry that could come along in these situations?
Tomorrow morning, we are going to look at a young teenager, but not just any teenager, who has found out by an Angel named Gabriel that she will become pregnant and become the mother of the Messiah.  Can you imagine her questions?  Can you imagine the  worry that she could have that comes along with finding out that you are pregnant and you have never been with a man?  Can you imagine the worry of thinking about raising THE MESSIAH, the Savior of the world?  What about the worry of telling your fiancé and the worry that comes along with whether he will believe you or the worry of telling your parents?
This young teenage girl named Mary, the mother of Jesus, does something besides worrying!  Mary exchanges worry for something!!

2020 has been a very tough year hasn’t it?   World Wide Pandemic, News Media circus, political fighting, Civil unrest like we haven’t seen since the 60’s, and an Election Year of the likes we have never seen before.  Many people are losing their confidence in many areas of their lives example: news coverage, the election process, this Covid pandemic, in our government and many others things; however, many have lost confidence in God.

Tomorrow morning, Pastor Dewayne is teaching on how Christmas can help us get our confidence back in the Lord. Please join us as we look at the Song of Zacharias, as we continue our series called "The Original Christmas Playlist"

RLCC Church family, I pray you ALL have had an awesome week.  During this Christmas season, the Lord has really put it on my heart to touch our community for Jesus.  What the Lord put on my heart was exactly what I shared this past Sunday about the restaurant businesses being hit very hard and the Movie Theaters.  In light of the new Governor’s restriction and the restaurants having their staff cut, hours cut, and patrons cuts, I feel we could really touch some people’s lives in our community.  Over the next couple of weeks, not in replacement of tithes, but I want us to take up an offering.   If you are going to participate in giving an offering based upon my vision below for touching our community for Jesus, please put that in a separate envelope and title it “Touching our Community for Jesus.

*  The first thing I would like to do is take my family over to Bob Evans and bless a shift manager that I had a meeting with today.  She is a single lady that was so humble that she wanted to try to figure out who we as a church could help, but in talking with her, I heard in my Spirit that she is in need of help.  I would love to bless her with a monetary gift to help her with her finances.
*  The second thing I would like to do is order a couple of pizzas that will be delivered before our service ends next Sunday.  When the person comes into the theater to deliver the pizza, I desire to bring them up on the stage and take delivery of the pizza from them personally.  I would like to ask them how they are doing?;  What is their greatest need right now?  After a brief conversation, I want to have two ushers with baskets on both sides of the theater.  Depending on where you are sitting, I would love for us to move down the aisle or up the aisle toward an usher with a basket and give a cash gift that will go directly to the delivery person to meet his or her needs. Talk about a tip/blessing they will never forget!!!

Join us for a fun-filled evening exchanging wrapped gifts that might not be a favorite of yours. We have seen some crazy, funny, questionable gifts and some priceless looks during the unwrapping exchange! If you really like what you received, be aware that someone else may like it even better and take it from you! Guaranteed to be an evening of laughs and fellowship. Be sure to bring a wrapped gift (does not need to be new) and a snack to share. Some extra tissues might be a good idea too, to catch the tears of laughter. Come for the laughs, not the gifts! You don't want to miss this night!

I just recently watched a facebook video post of one of our friends who had invited the family over to the backyard for the “Big Reveal” of what the gender of her daughter and son in law’s baby is going to be!  Everyone was in the backyard and couldn’t wait to find out if it was going to be a boy or a girl.  The soon to be parents had in a box a blue balloon & a pink balloon.  When they poked the box pink smoke started to arise from the box.  Everyone cheered!!
Now, can you imagine being a shepherd out in the middle of the field at night tending your flock, then all of the sudden there is Gabriel, God’s messenger, with the absolute biggest “Reveal” of ALL time. He said, “For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.” Then ALL the sudden the Heavens open a little wider and 1000’s upon 1000’s if not millions of the choir of heavenly hosts sing, “Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace among those with whom he is pleased!”  Talk about a "BIG REVEAL"

Why is waiting so difficult? So much of our lives are spent in waiting.

  • We wait in line to check out at a store. We wait for packages to arrive. We wait for the winter to be over so we can enjoy spring and summer.

  • We wait for the next job or the next promotion.
  • We wait to meet that special someone.
  • We wait for difficult seasons of life to come to an end.
  • We wait for relief from suffering.
  • We wait for a call from the doctors office.
  • We wait for an end to Covid.
  • We wait, hoping that loved ones will trust in Jesus.

So much of our lives our lives are spent in waiting. And I want to propose that how we wait makes all the difference.

Please join us tomorrow morning as we conclude with “The Song of Siemon” at 10 a.m. In-House or  9:55 a.m. countdown and 10 a.m. start on Facebook Live!

We are ALL in a new year!  How many of you have already made your New Year’s resolutions?  Now, if we are honest with ourselves, how many of us have over the past many years make it almost toward the end of January and have already broken the resolutions? I have to confess to you in 2016; Dee had purchased me a gym membership.  I was excited to start.  I did real good for the first month and then the wheels came off the bus!  I became sporadic!  Pretty soon Dee is questioning if continuing the membership is the wise thing to do in light of my not using it.  What if this year, instead of making a New Year’s resolution, you try something Biblically different than the world has to offer.  I am talking about Biblical Fasting.  Here is some of the benefits:

  • Deliverance from bad habits

  • Revelations from God

  • Speedily answered prayers

  • Constant supply of needs being met

  • Rejuvenation of your health and vitality

  • Loss of unwanted weight

  • Slowing down the aging process

  • Normalizing your blood pressure

  • Healthy Cholesterol levels

  • Bringing your body into spiritual subjection

  • Breaking demonic forces

These are just a few things that I have experienced personally, but there is so so so many more benefits.  Before you tune me out, please give the Father through me a chance to preach and teach you over the next several weeks about what happened when people groups, nations, and individuals fasted and prayed in the Bible.  There is so much in the Bible that will encourage you and more importantly if you can get ahold of what I am about to preach, teach, and implement it in your life, I can guarantee your relationship with God will go to the next level, your marriage will go to the next level, parenting will go to the next level, you’ll be able to defeat that addiction you have been trying to quit, and so so much more!  I am so excited to teach you about fasting and praying!  Fasting is the fuel to your prayer life.   Say that outloud, “Fasting is the fuel to your prayer life.”

Please join us tomorrow morning as Pastor Dewayne preaches a Message “Better Together” when we fast and pray!  He is going to answer these questions:

  • What does Jesus have to say about fasting?

  • Did Jesus fast?

  • Did Jesus teach on Fasting?

How many of us have situations and circumstances we are facing right now?  How many of us are addicted to things?  It could be TV, social media, coffee, cokes of ALL flavors, energy drinks, cigarettes, alcohol, tobacco, drugs, pornography, etc…  What is that one thing that you run too when you are feeling down, depressed, anxiety, or need a pick-me-up,  etc…?  What if I told you that instead of running to that thing or those things which leave you empty after you do them anyway, try something different this year.  How about instead giving into those things, you “FAST” (give up) those things and run to God in prayer and add fasting to your prayers.  I can assure you that when you add “FASTING” to your “Prayer Life” that it will be the fuel you need to overcome what is trying to overcome you in your life.  Running to things is only a temporary fix to a problem that must be pulled up by its roots.  I believe with ALL my heart that fasting can get you to the root of your problems and by God’s grace and mercy as you humble yourself or as the bible says, “afflict by fasting” yourself that you can pluck it out of your life.
Tomorrow morning, we are going to look at several men and women that were facing some pretty tough things in their lives.  As a matter of fact, there were a couple of entire nations facing problems and some pretty tough things from their enemies.
Pastor Dewayne is going to be showing you how  “Fasting is the fuel to your prayer life.”

How many of us have been praying that God would remove this habit or that addiction from our life.  “Father, please remove it from me!” or we say, “Lord, I don’t want to do this no more, please help me!”   "Break this thing Lord off my life." You have been praying at this thing for some time; You have been praying against this thing for some time; Finally, you have been feeling like nothing is happening.  Tomorrow morning, we are going to look at individuals that have been in your shoes.  They had been praying, but nothing was happening; however, when they added fasting to their prayer life all the sudden things started to happen.  Jesus said to his disciples in Mark 9:29 that there are just certain things that we are praying for that are going to require more than just praying about.  Jesus said, “This kind can come out by nothing but prayer and fasting.”
Please join us tomorrow morning as we continue our “Fasting is the Fuel to Your Prayer Life Series.”  We are truly better together when we “Fast Together.”

It is easy to make decisions when the path is clear, we have all the information we need, and everyone is in agreement on the decision.  However, there are times when the way forward is difficult or filled with fear, and we do not have all the information we need to make the decision.  Sometimes we’re missing all the important pieces of information to make a decision.  Let me ask you, What are some of the decisions you are facing this year?   You may be standing here today looking back and realizing that over your lifetime you have made some really bad decisions that have set you back!  If we are honest, it was the no-brainer decisions that have been very costly.  What I mean by that is we rely on our own experience, resources, and all suggestions coming from others, but we rarely go to God to help us and see if the direction we are about to make is of Him and His leading.
If you are at the crossroad of a decision in your life, please don’t miss tomorrow’s message!!  Pastor Dewayne will be preaching a message called “Fasting for direction."  Many people in the Bible got their answers  to the direction for their lives from God when they added fasting to their prayer lives.  Could you be missing some of the greatest directions for you life, because you haven't added a day of fasting into your prayer life!

In 1990, I ran my first marathon while in the Army.  It was held in downtown Austin, Tx.  I remember showing up there on the streets that day proud to be with my Army unit representing our branch of the military.  We all had the same shirts on called “Dogs Of War.”  I’ll never forget it.  There were all kinds of people at this marathon.  There were people that were dressed up as different characters and wearing certain costumes, but there was the serious marathoners warming up and stretching determined to win this race.  All was good after the gun went off signaling the start of the race.  About half-way I felt like I was “hitting a wall.”  I didn’t know what that was, but did you know it’s an actual thing.  Here is the definition: In General, hitting the wall refers to depleting your stored glycogen and the feelings of fatigue and negativity that typically accompany it.  It was all fun and games at first then, I was telling myself this is the stupidest thing I have ever done.  I was thinking to myself Why did I sign up for this.  I started becoming negative. I seen people that were playing around and all jokey at the beginning of the race now laying out on the side of the road or standing up throwing up as I passed them by. Once, I broke through the wall and finished the race, I was so happy!  I was so proud of myself I didn’t give up.  Maybe you have never ran a marathon, but maybe you have “Hit a wall” in your Christian walk.
Maybe you are growing weary  in:
* A tough relationship.
* A person you have been praying for who is so far from God.
* A pattern of sin in your life that you have been fighting against.
* A new habit that you have been trying to cultivate.
* A family problem that you are working through.
Whatever it is we would do well to understand the power of perseverance!!!  This is where I want to go tonight as we look at how to persevere when we want to give up.

Please join Pastor Dewayne tonight  at 7 p.m. as we begin our “Journey Toward God together.
We are Better Together when we… “Journey Toward God Together”
Tonight’s lesson is  —
  • The Power of Perseverance -- Exodus 4:29-6:8

The following weeks we will be covering:
  • Intercessory Prayer -- Exodus 17:8-16
  • Becoming a Minister -- Exodus 18:13-26
  • Becoming Great Worshipers -- Exodus 33:1-23

Please join Pastor Dewayne tonight as he continues his devotional series called “Journey Toward God.”  As with any journey, there are sometimes you have to take a detour, because there is an obstruction in the road.  Moses has come to the obstruction in the road called Pharoah.  If he was ever going to lead God’s people out of Egypt and journey toward where God is taking them, he had to get around this HUGE obstacle.  Tonight, we are going to be looking at the 10 plagues that were put upon the land of Egypt to where Pharaoh said to Moses, “Take your people and go.”  You do not want to miss tonight’s devotion as Pastor Dewayne teaches why God used each of the 10 plagues and what they stood for!!

God has created men to have incredible strength. But today’s culture has hijacked masculinity, distorting strength into passivity and abuse.

In this 5-part video Bible study series, pastor Joby Martin invites men to embrace God’s definition of masculinity and to step into His calling upon their lives to wield their strength on behalf of others. I have a saying in my family; my kids have heard it a thousand times, “Stand for something or you’ll fall for anything!”  We are Better Together when we are “Taking A Stand.”

This Is our new title of our February series.  In a world that is falling for everything, the Lord is needing us to take a stand when it comes to the things of God.  This week, we are looking at Daniel.  When prayer for 30 days was outlawed and praying made you an outlaw from an order that came down from the government officials and King, Daniel took a stand and went to his window like he was accustomed to doing three times a day and prayed and gave thanks to the Lord.  He didn’t shut the blinds, pull the curtains, or whisper so as not to be heard praying, but lifted his voice up to the Lord and gave God thanks.  He was arrested and sentenced.  Daniel was “Taking a Stand” when taking a stand mean that you were breaking the government law and you'd be thrown into a lion’s den full of hungry lions.

As we see our nation turning its back on God, at what point and to what degree are you willing to take a stand for the things of God?  The next four weeks will give us insight on what “Taking A Stand” looks like in the Bible.

We are continuing our Series for the month of February called “Taking A Stand”  What do we stand for.  Tomorrow’s message is called “Taking A Stand To Making My Relationships Successful.” February is the love and relationship month.  Right after Christmas is over the stores start putting up the Valentine’s Day merchandise.  I don’t know about you, but it does make me stop and think about where I am at in my relationship with God, with my wife, with my kids, and with others.  There was a woman in the Bible who had been married five times and had given up on marriage.  She was now living with a dude, but Jesus taught her the keys to having a successful relationship & marriage through using a cup of water as an example.  The big question I want to teach tomorrow is how to have a successful relationship when it comes to everyone in your life.

"Where do you turn when the world around you grows dark? In this study of the Gospel of John, Dr. Tony Evans encourages us to turn to Christ by reminding us of the two purposes for the beloved disciple’s book—that we would believe in Jesus and find life in his name. Despite what our culture may argue, there is only one hope that is truly trustworthy and that is our savior, Jesus Christ. So join Tony for this twelve-session series that will draw you back to the essential truths of our faith and the life found in our king."

We are in desperate need of heroes in our lives today.  Webster Dictionary defines a “hero” as “A person admired for achievements and noble qualities; one who shows great courage.”  As I look back over my life and those who I have looked up to, I have my own definition of a hero.  For me, a hero is someone who stands tall when others shrink back.  When everyone else is floating in the current, heroes are swimming upstream.  Also, someone who speaks up for what is right, when others look away sitting on the sidelines rather than standing up for what is right.  The Apostle Paul is one of my heroes in faith that stood tall when given the chance to share his testimony to his Jewish peers who wanted him dead.  He didn’t shrink back when standing before a King and his corrupt system and advisors.  Pastor Dewayne is continuing our February series “Taking A Stand”  This week Pastor Dewayne’s message is “Standing Tall When Given The Opportunity to Share Our Testimony.”

The attack of satan in the 21st Century is on the HOME.  You folks sensing that?  The values that we cherish as a Christian Family is under attack across this world.  I believe these values are worth fighting for.  Nehemiah rebuilt walls that had been torn down.  Today, the walls of morality, the walls of strong marriages, the walls of happy homes have all been torn to pieces and some even been destroyed.  We are feeling the attacks and our homes are feeling the effects.  But, in the Bible Nehemiah said, “I am going to rebuild the walls and fight until I get the victory.”  When it comes to rebuilding families and broken relationships it is no different.  You have to say, “My marriage is worth fighting for!  I am going to fight for my wife.  I’m going to fight for my family because they are worth fighting for.” That son or daughter is worth fighting for.   If we are ever going to rebuild the walls, we need to build them with care.  Build them in such a way that the presence of the Holy Spirit is welcomed there. We need to build our walls to stand the test of time.  We need to take a stand!!  Standing up and fighting for our families!!!!

At every sporting event I have noticed that there are two kinds of people.  You have the players that are on the field and you have the spectators that are in the bleachers.  On the field itself are the players who have developed and honed their skills over their lifetime.  They are the ones making their gifts count.  They are the ones who get written about and interviewed, and who know the deep joy of victory and the searing agony of defeat.  In the bleachers, the spectators just watch.  That’s all they do.  Their gifts don’t matter.  No one ever says to a young boy or young girl, “I think you could be a tremendous spectator someday.  Start by rooting for a minor league team and then someday you’ll be able to go be what they call a "bleacher bum" at the major league level.”
It’s sad, but there is a true reality that in most churches there are a few people who work like crazy, and many who are glad to receive much and give nothing.  I believe that this breaks the heart of God.  God longs for every follower of His to get on the playing field and be a part of the game.  I remember running up and down the side lines saying, “Put me in coach!”  May I ask a personal question?  Are you a spectator or are you on the field using your gifts for Him?

This week Pastor Dewayne kicks off his March series called “Generous”  There are over 2,100 times the word “give” is in the Bible. You might think “love” would be referenced more, but it’s only used around 700 times. Why? Because you can’t truly love without giving. You can give without loving, but the essence of loving is giving. Whether that be giving your talent, time, energy, or a multitude of other gifts, generosity is the foundation of love. If you want to experience God’s blessings in your life, you must have integrity, humility, and a generous heart.
Tomorrow morning Pastor Dewayne  will be sharing about two women - One from 1 Kings and the other from 2 Kings  that experienced God’s blessing during a time of great famine, because of their lifestyles and hearts of being generous!!

We all desire to make a difference in this world. Living a life of being generous can do that.  The great paradox in life is this: those who try to hold on to their lives will eventually lose it, and the ones who generously sacrifice their lives will gain it. Generosity is not only a matter of money, but also our time, talents, and areas of influence.  Pastor Dewayne will continue his series on “Generous.”  We will be looking at a very selfish man named Nabal and a very giving wife named Abigail.
Please join us tomorrow morning at 10 a.m. either In-House or Real Life Community Church Facebook Live with a countdown starting at 9:55 a.m.

Being generous can take on many forms.  You can be generous for your sake.  You can be generous for others sake, and you can be generous for the sake of being generous.  The most important generosity is what is done for Christ's sake, because of what Christ has done in your life; you just simply want to give back.  Tomorrow morning, we are going to see this played out in a story in the Bible.  Jesus asked Peter if he could borrow the most important thing in his life at that time.  This thing was what made him a living; It was how Peter got his food; It was Peter’s livelihood; It was Peter’s most prized possession that Jesus asked to borrow.  For Christ’s sake, Peter let Him borrow it.
Please join us tomorrow morning as pastor Dewayne continues his serious “Generous - Greater possibilities together” and he will share what Peter was generous with!!!  You don’t want to miss this message.

Lessons from Jesus’ donkey ride experience into Jerusalem
Have you ever wondered,  why did Jesus enter Jerusalem on a donkey?  What was He experiencing as He rode on the donkey?  He, up until this day, was sharing with the people after healing them of their disease, sickness, or casting a devil out of them — "Shhhhhhhhhh be quite don’t let anyone know what I did."  Why this day was He wanting everyone to know as the people laid down palm branches as He came riding into town on a donkey.  Please join Pastor Dewayne tomorrow morning as we ride along with Jesus on His donkey.

"Being Real" with Pastor Dewayne Devos

Title of tonight’s topic:  "Holy Spirit’s entry into the world”
The last several weeks I have shown in the Bible the third Person of the Trinity the Holy Spirit is a person not a thing.  Tonight, we are going to look at His introduction being poured onto the world.  Jesus told His disciples in Acts 1:4 “Do not leave Jerusalem, but wait for the gift my Father promised, which you have heard me speak about.”  Jesus said that when He leaves that the Holy Spirit would come.  Tonight, we are going to look at the introduction of the Holy Spirit’s entry into the world.  Please join us tonight at 7 p.m.  on Real Life Community Church Facebook Page

As I continue to grow and mature in life, and in the Lord, I have discovered that in order to achieve success, or attain a goal, you have to have your sight and mind set on that goal.  To reach the top of a mountain, you must have your eyes and your mind focused on the same thing.  A focused individual is one who aims well at the target and pulls his bow of opportunity to the final stretch before letting his or her arrow fly to the intended target.  Tomorrow morning, we are going to come along side Israel as they have left the slavery and bondage of Egypt and are heading to the Promised Land.  They have missed a few meals along the road and were very hungry.  Their vision of the Promised land, their target, had become blurry, because their minds went back to Egypt.  They got a case of the “Could’ve’s, Should’ve’s, and Would’ve’s.”  Israel was so concerned about what they used to eat in Egypt from Pharaoh’s flesh pots, that they were willing to give up the Promised land that was flowing with milk and honey.

Pastor Dewayne will be preaching a powerful message he has entitled  “They had their eyes set on Canaan, but their minds were back in Egypt.”

"Being Real" with Pastor Dewayne Devos

Title of tonight’s topic:  “One Baptism or Two”
Coming off last week’s message with the entrance of Holy Spirit onto Earth there is one question that I have been asked over the years.  It simply revolves around this question here.  Is there One Baptism or is there two?  John said that he baptizes with water, but there is another coming after him that will baptize with the fire and the Holy Spirit.
Hebrews 6:1-2 "Therefore, leaving the discussion of the elementary principles of Christ, let us go on to perfection, not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works and of faith toward God, of the doctrine of baptisms, of laying on of hands, of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment.

Tonight our devotion will center around this verse.  Please join us tonight at 7 p.m.  on Real Life Community Church Facebook Page

“It (the Gospel) doesn’t cost anything, but it demands everything. It demands that we go ‘all in,’ a term that simply means placing all that you have into God’s hands. Pushing it all in. And that’s where we get stuck — spiritual no man’s land. We’re afraid that if we go all in that we might miss out on what this life has to offer. It’s not true. The only thing you’ll miss out on is everything God has to offer. And the good news is this: if you don’t hold out on God, God won’t hold out on you.”  This month we are going to look at several people in the Bible that was willing to not play it safe no more, but go ALL IN for Jesus, because He went ALL IN for them.

Two words come to mind “Commitment” and “Faith.” We are going to be looking at two women in the Bible that are great examples of going ALL IN, because of their “Commitment” and their “Faith.” There are many brothers and sisters that have asked themselves this question: "What would it look like if I would just totally go ALL IN for Jesus." There are still others that have been told, “Brother or Sister, if you would just go ALL IN for Jesus your life would be totally different than the way it looks right now.” If this introduction to tomorrow’s message is speaking to you right now or you are just curious about what it would take to go ALL in, please consider this a personal invitation to join us tomorrow morning. “Discover Your Gifts” is an advanced discipleship class fashioned for the maturing Christian who is seeking a closer walk with the LORD by becoming involved in Christian service. Most of us want to know where God wants us to serve and how to begin worshipping Him by building up the Body of Christ.

At Real Life Community Church, we want to focus on each individual and help them find their ministry(s) rather than permitting them to miss the blessings of service.

We will focus on Five Personal Factors that have combined to shape the "real" you.  By identifying the specific traits you possess in each of these areas, the ministry God has designed you for will become crystal clear!
